A lady identified as Chioma Eunice Igweike, who was abducted on Wednesday, July 20, has been found dead with vital parts of her body missing.

Details of the incident are still sketchy at the time of filing this report but it was gathered that the deceased was abducted on Wednesday, July, 20, 2022, after she left her residence in Anambra state for the mandatory three weeks orientation course at the Ogun state National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) camp.

Eunice, who was a graduate of the Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra state, was kidnapped and killed by ritualists, according to a source.

Meanwhile, friends have taken to social media platforms to mourn Eunice, with some of them asking the federal government to cancel the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme.

Ike Sunday Chinedu, a friend of the deceased, wrote on Facebook, “Hearing the news of your death is one of the greatest unpleasant news I have ever heard in my life. I can remember how you gave me and my friend a lodge to stay in after we were admitted into the Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra state.

“Fortunately, you happened to be my neighbour, and it was a pleasure getting to be close to you. We joked together, laughed together and shared many things we could not even tell our friends together.

“I thought it was a joke when I heard that you were missing, then days later, I heard your abductors have taken your life. It is sad to say goodbye in this manner. Rest in peace, Eunice,” he added.
